Our standard
Availio, the app published by Frenz, Inc., has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Content or behavior that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a child has no place on Availio, and we act on it as soon as we learn of it.
These standards apply to everything on the Service: profiles, photos, Free Now posts, availability, groups, and Hangchat messages and attachments.
Who can use Availio
Availio is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service, as set out in our Terms of Service. Accounts we find to belong to someone under 18 are removed.
What is prohibited
The following are never allowed on Availio:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any image, video, text, or other content that depicts or describes a minor in a sexual way, including drawn, edited, or computer-generated content.
- Grooming: building a relationship with a minor, or with someone who has access to one, in order to sexually abuse or exploit them.
- Sexual extortion of a minor, or threatening to share intimate images of a minor.
- Soliciting, advertising, or arranging the sexual exploitation or trafficking of a child.
- Sexualizing minors in any other way, including sexual comments about a child.
- Sharing, requesting, or linking to any of the above, or encouraging others to.
How to report a concern
In the app: Open the person's profile or their post, choose Report, and pick the reason that fits best. If none does, choose Something else and tell us what happened. You can switch on Also block at the same time. The person is never told who reported them.
By email: Write to contact@availio.app with what you saw and, if you can, the handle of the account involved. You do not need an Availio account to contact us.
Please do not download, screenshot, or forward suspected child sexual abuse material to send it to us. Report the account and describe what you saw; we can locate the content from that.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
What we do with a report
- We review every report, and reports involving the safety of a child are handled first. We act within 24 hours.
- We remove content that violates these standards and permanently ban the accounts responsible.
- We report child sexual abuse material and the exploitation of children to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement, as the law requires.
- We preserve the relevant information and cooperate with valid requests from law enforcement.
Compliance with the law
Frenz, Inc. complies with the child safety laws that apply to the Service, including the United States' requirement to report apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC.
